Most pergolas today are built with Aluminum materials because they require very minimal maintenance and can resemble the look of wood.
Smaller pergolas without a fixed roof often fall within exempt development rules, but this varies depending on your property’s zoning and planning overlay. Roofed structures or larger builds will generally require a building permit. We’ll check the requirements for your specific property during our consultation.
Most standard pergola builds are completed within three to seven days. More complex designs, or those combined with decking, may take up to two weeks.
